The Apples are the groundbreaking, genre busting Freestyle recording artists who fuse funk, hip hop, big band jazz, rock and cutting edge turntablism and who count Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, A Skillz and Mr Scruff amongst their dedicated fans are once again messing with your head!

This latest release - a dancefloor shattering 12" featuring versions of Snaps 'THE POWER' and also features the fave live track ‘Upskirt’ alongside another funkified cover version of ‘Rage Against The Machine's "Killing In The Name Of"

The 4 track 12 is released on the 16th of February, and The Apples version of ‘Killing’ will shortly feature as the musical backing to what promises to be a memorable performance by a young street dancer on UK TV's 'Britains Got Talent'

And finally, as a special treat for sample hunters and scratch sniffers, this special 12 inch single features a bonus track containing all of their favourite DJ snippets….what other band would give your more?!

The Apples are shortly to tour across the UK, starting in late February and right through March and will officially launch their new 12 inch single 'The Power' at the legendary Soho venue: MADAME JO JO'S FRIDAY - 06 MARCH 2009
