The Lack Of Afro success story began after word spread to the Freestyle Records office about the sounds Adam Gibbons, multi instrumentalist, producer, re-mixer and DJ was creating, Freestyle Records head honcho Adrian Gibson instantly signed him and released the massive debut single “Wait A Minute” and subsequent album “Press On” which was hailed by iDJ magazine as “one of the greatest albums of the modern funk era”.
